There is no registration required for the event, which takes place the first Saturday of April each spring.

Residents are welcome to put out temporary yard sale signs, but city officials ask that sellers follow city sign regulations, which can be found on the city of Tonganoxie’s website, tonganoxie.org. Some residents get sales started early, so buyers should be on the lookout for sales Friday as well.

The citywide yard sales take place the first Saturday in April and October each year. This year’s fall sales will be Oct. 3.
