Tonganoxie will be selling some of the playground equipment at Chieftain Park and the Stone Creek subdivision playground on Purple Wave, while other items from the playgrounds will be thrown away.

Tonganoxie City Council members approved of the measure at Monday’s regular meeting as the city prepares for construction of new playground areas at Chieftain Park in the coming months and at a later time in Stone Creek. The council approved the moves by a unanimous 5-0 vote.
