The board approved personnel recommendations as part of its agenda.

Contracts and work agreements were approved for Jamie Theno, Tonganoxie Elementary School nurse’s aide; Leslie Pritchard, TES early childhood teacher; and Shanna Sparks, transportation paraprofessional.

Resignations were approved for Tyler Cassity, Tonganoxie High School assistant wrestling coach; Kate Erpelding, THS assistant boys soccer coach; Kayla Delich, THS softball assistant coach; and Glenn Courtwright, regular route driver.

Update on HVAC project

Mitch Loomis, maintenance and facilities director for the district, gave a report on the ongoing HVAC project at Tonganoxie Elementary School.

Loomis said the project is on schedule to be finished a few days in advance of the first day of school next month.

Board meets in executive session

School board members met in executive session for a total of 35 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel. No action was taken after the session.
