Kansas Leadership Center offering grants with new name

By Staff | Jul 29, 2026

Every organization faces challenges that don’t have easy answers.

Through Common Good Partnerships, Kansas Leadership Center works alongside Kansas organizations to build leadership capacity, tackle difficult challenges and make lasting progress. Common Good Partnerships is the new name for KLC’s long-running Leadership Transformation Grant program, reflecting the partnership at the heart of the experience.

KLC will accept applications for its 2027 Common Good Partnerships Aug. 10-Sept. 14.

We are looking for partners across Kansas to engage people throughout their organizations in the KLC Framework in order to make lasting progress on their biggest challenges.

Attend a virtual informational webinar with Partner Manager Camille Scott to learn more about the Common Good Partnership grant, the application process and what to expect as a partner. Though the first webinar took place Tuesday, another will be 11 a.m. Aug. 6.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

The grant is open to civically engaged Kansas organizations in the following sectors:

• Education: school districts, higher level institutions, school support organizations, educational networks

• Faith: churches, Islamic societies, temples, district level entities, collaborative faith alliances

• Government: city, county, state government agencies

• Nonprofit: community foundations, health organizations, social advocacy, arts organizations, chambers, civic clubs and business associations
