Tonganoxie Rec Commission Easter Egg Hunt slated for Saturday at fairgrounds

This year’s Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Easter Egg Hunt will be 3-4 p.m. Saturday at the TRC baseball and softball fields.
In total, more than 6,000 plastic eggs will be placed on the fields.
Egg hunt times for ages infants to 3 years old will be 3:10-3:20 p.m., with half of the field for youths up to 1 year old and the rest 2-3. Youths ages 4-6 will have their hunt from 3:25-3:35 p.m. and youths ages 7-10+ will take to the field from 3:40-3:50 p.m.
There also will be photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, face painting with Miss Suzie, cow-themed inflatables, corn hole, bubbles with Tonganoxie Public Library and a visit from Riverview Rescue dogs.
Also on the list of activities is balloon art with Happy Twistin’ Designs and cotton candy from Sweet T’s Mercantile.
Easter Eggstravaganza is next weekend
Cornerstone Family Worship will have its Easter Eggstravaganza starting at 11 a.m. April 4.
There will be crafts, games, prizes, a candy anon and fun and fellowshiop for all ages.
The event will be at Cornerstone, 205 E. U.S. Highway 24-40 in Tonganoxie.
