Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County to celebrate 26 years of Taste of Elegance event this weekend

Supporting people and families through life’s transitions is the mission of hospice care.

The annual Taste of Elegance event by the Friends of the Hospice of Jefferson County helps in that endeavor. The event will start at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Valley Falls.

Money raised provides resources for Hospice of Jefferson County, such as patient supplies and other assistance for families in need.

This is the 26th year for the Taste of Elegance, which includes dinner, live and silent auctions and a country store.

A photo booth, coffee bar, live music and silent auction bidding starts at 3:30 p.m. Dinner is at 5 p.m., with a live auction to follow.
