Jerry Freeman

A celebration of life for Jerry M. Freeman, 64, Clearview City, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Union Pacific Depot in Lawrence. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
Mr. Freeman died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at his home.
He was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Scott City, the son of Eldon and Violet Holden Freeman.
Survivors include his father of Topeka; two brothers, Jack Freeman and Steve Freeman; two sisters, Brenda Blankingship and Debbie Taylor; former wife, Linda Newton Freeman, Lenexa; three daughters, Stacey Freeman of Mariemont, Ohio, Jill Link of Hoyt, and Jerilyn Smith of Lawrence; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Jerry M. Freeman Memorial Fund, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 S.E. Minn. Avenue, Topeka 66605.
