Joseph Brunk

Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Steven “Joe” Brunk, 38, Afton, Okla., will be at
10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Brunk died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1970, in Lawrence, the son of Larry and Marilyn Katzfey Brunk, Grove, Okla. He graduated from Eudora High School in 1988.
Mr. Brunk worked in commercial construction as a supervisor.
He married Judy Midgett on July 27, 2008, in Afton, Okla. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his parents; a brother, Mark, Lawrence; and his grandfather, Joe Katzfey, Eudora.
Friends may call from noon to 8:30 p.m. and a rosary was said at
7 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel, where the family received friends after the rosary.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the mortuary.
