James Boltz

Memorial services for James H. Boltz, 62, of Lake Metigoshe, N.D., and Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Bottineau, N.D., were Saturday, Aug. 9, at Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau.
Mr. Boltz died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in a Minot, N.D., hospital.
He was born Nov. 18, 1945, in Bottineau, the son of Howard and Hazel (Juntunen) Boltz. He graduated from Bottineau High School in 1963 and went on to attend the University of North Dakota, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1968.
He married Sandra Hartsburg (Holwell), also formerly of Bottineau, in 1967. The couple moved to Tempe, Ariz., shortly thereafter.
He and his wife raised two daughters, Stacey and Catherine, and later divorced.
For the past 35 years, Mr. Boltz has worked in construction and land development.
He married Linda Wright, of Bonner Springs, in 1998 in Scottsdale, Ariz..
Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughters, Stacey Boltz, Phoenix, and Catherine Boltz, Scottsdale; a sister, Joan Boltz-Sund, Scottsdale; and a grandson.
