Myrtle Thomas

Services for Myrtle S. Thomas, 90, of Lenexa, were Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Monticello United Methodist Church. Burial was in Monticello Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Sweet Life at Rosehill.
She was born in 1918 to Sibylla and Alex Woods of Torrington, Wyo.
Mrs. Thomas moved to Johnson County in 1948. She was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She married Cecil E. Thomas on Sept. 22, 1944, at Scottsbluff, Neb. He died in 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Arlene Goad, Shawnee, and Alice Jeanette Thomas, Topeka, Kan.; a son, Jerry Allen Thomas, Del Ray Beach, Fla; and a grandson.
