Lydia Woods

Services for Lydia F. Woods, 74, Tonganoxie, were Monday, Dec. 15, at Quisenberry Funeral Home. Burial followed in Hubbel Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Woods died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at her home.
She was born April 25, 1934, in Ft. Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Althea (Tollman) Arnold. She was united in marriage June 4, 1953 in Mountain Home, Ark., to James R. Woods who survives of the home. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker and a farm wife.
Other survivors include two sons, Robert Woods, Tonganoxie, and Michael Woods, Lenexa; two brothers, Fred and Jess Arnold, both of Ft. Madison, Iowa; two sisters Naomi Hansen, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Debbie Petty, Ft, Madison, Iowa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
