Memorial services for Leon W. Creten, 69, Kansas City, Kan., were Thursday, Dec. 18, at Kansas City Hospice House Chapel.
Mr. Creten died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Kansas City Hospice House.
He was born Dec. 8, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Frank and Daisy Creten.
Mr. Creten was a brick layer and a farmer. He sold produce to local residents and area grocery stores from his truck on Kansas Highway 32.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianna Creten-Miller, Independence, Mo., and Loretta Bisacca, Olathe; four sisters, Sharon Reasoner, Francis Jones, Joyce Clarrey and Karen Creten, all of Kansas City, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
