Lucille Lewis

A memorial service for Lucille A. Lewis, 89, of Merriam, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Bristol Hill United Methodist Church, 4826 County Line Road, Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Lewis died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008.
She was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of Mary Ann and Daniel Rook. She moved to Little Rock, Ark., in 1938 after her marriage to Clifton Horton.
She lived there until 1990 when she moved to Merriam.
Survivors include a brother, D.S. Rook, Brighton, Tenn.; her daughter, Ann Ollar, Kansas City, Kan.; two sons, Dan Horton, Malvern, Ark., and Gary Horton, Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the church.
