Lorna Landkamer
Memorial services for Lorna L. Landkamer, 82, Baldwin City, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Landkamer died Sept. 4, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Daykin, Neb., the daughter of Emil and Hilda (Struckman) Nolte. She attended school in Daykin and graduated from Daykin High School in 1942.
She married Dale Landkamer on Oct. 24, 1953, in Salina. He died April 23, 2005.
She worked as a clerk for the Douglas County courthouse and later at Allied Signal as a machinist for 18 ½ years. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Landkamer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her daughter Shirley Landkamer, of Baldwin City; sons, Lloyd Landkamer of Minnesota, Lynn Landkamer of Baldwin City and David Landkamer of Lawrence; daughter in law, Josephine Landkamer; one grandchild, Spencer Wayne Landkamer.
