James J. McMillian, 57, Auburn Neb., formerly of Leavenworth, died Sept. 4, 2008. Memorial Services were scheduled for Sept. 10 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial of Cremated Remains to follow in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth.

Jim was born in Kansas City, Kan., on Sept. 4, 1951 to Hollis and Vera (Chris) McMillian. For the last two years Jim was the Pastor at Auburn Evangelical Free Church. He was an Air Force Veteran and had been a Volunteer Fireman in Lansing. He worked for the Civil Service Army for more than 30 years. He leaves behind his wife Connie Ann of 36 years, his daughter Annette (McMillian) Camlin and husband Christian of Leavenworth, his daughter Kerri (McMillian) Campbell and husband Kelly of Nebraska, two grandchildren, Kelsey and Calen Camlin of Leavenworth, brother John McMillian and wife Sandy of Leavenworth, sister Jean Chinn of Leavenworth, brother Jan McMillian and wife Kay of Leavenworth, and sister Joy Fields of Leavenworth.
