Norval Gulick

Norval Eugene (Gene) Gulick died Tuesday, Sept. 2, at his home after several years of battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. Graveside services were held Friday, Sept. 5, at Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends and family gathered at Shawnee United Methodist Church immediately following the service.
Mr. Gulick was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo. He lived there until moving to Shawnee in 1951. He graduated from Kansas City East High School in 1949. He worked in printing from the age of 16 until he retired as Business Agent of GCIU Local No. 16-C at the age of 62.
Mr. Gulick was a devoted family man, leaving his wife Betty; brothers Hollace and Carl Gulick; a son, Jack, and daughter-in-law, Dana; two grandchildren, Jason and Blair; and a German shepherd, Breeze. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews in the extended family, as well as many friends. He was the youngest of 10 children, preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
