Frank McKay Jr.

Graveside services for Frank “Frankie” L. McKay Jr., 40, Kansas City, Kan., were Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Mt. Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.
Mr. McKay died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Feb. 12, 1969, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Frank L. and Karron McKay. He had attended Kansas City, Kan., public schools.
Mr. McKay had worked at Wilson Concrete in Kansas City, Kan., for 18 years and had helped do concrete flatwork in this area his entire adult life. He had attended Elm Grove Baptist Church in Bonner Springs.
Survivors include his three children, Frank L. McKay III, Lizzie Mae McKay and Madalyn Grace McKay, all of Tipton, Mo.; his father, Frank L. McKay (Icy Davis), Kansas City, Kan.; and three sisters, Tanna Rush (Timmy Wayne), Christine Alonge (Nick) and Crystal Davis.
The family suggests memorials to the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012, to help with funeral expenses.
