Chester Kerns

Services for Chester Arthur Kerns III, 52, of Warsaw, Mo., and formerly of Bonner Springs, were Monday, Aug. 10, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial was in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Mr. Kerns died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at his home.
He was born Oct. 8, 1957, in Kansas City, Kan. He was a lifelong area resident, recently relocating to his lake home.
Mr. Kerns worked as a union carpenter for many years and enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include a son, Travis, Bonner Springs; a daughter, Melanie Wolfgang, Mountain Home, Idaho; a brother, Gail L., Erie, Ill.; a sister, Glenda Rider, Bonner Springs; and three grandchildren.
