Jared McDonnell

Mass of Christian Burial for Jared R. McDonnell, 9, of Basehor, will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 5, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor. Family committal services will be in Omaha, Neb.
Jared died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Jan. 24, 2000, in Omaha, Neb., the son of Tim and Jeri McDonnell.
Jared had lived in Basehor since February 2003. He was a third-grade student at Basehor Elementary School.
His twin sisters died in 1981.
Survivors include his parents of the home; eight brothers T.J., Ryan, Kyle, Kevin, Matthew, Andrew, Sean and Keith; and seven sisters, Shannon, Erin, Lauren, Meghan, Caitlyn, Madison and Paityn; paternal grandparents Jim and Donna McDonnell; and maternal grandfather Jim Nesci.
Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs, handled arrangements.
