Asher Arcand

Services for Asher Gray Arcand, 9, Shawnee, were Thursday, Feb. 5, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Cremation followed the services.
Asher died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Nov. 5, 1999, in Merriam, the son of Alan and Tonya (Gray) Arcand. He was in the third grade at Horizon Elementary School. Asher enjoyed playing drums and was currently taking lessons.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Austin; and grandparents, Carol and Charles Gray and Bernadette (Arcand-Smith) and Bob Smith, all of Shawnee.
