Kenneth Sheaffer

Services for Kenneth Roy Sheaffer, 75, Tonganoxie, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at the United Methodist Church, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Sheaffer died Dec. 24, 2008, at University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born March 27, 1933, in Adel, Iowa, the son of Martin and Anna McVey Sheaffer.
He was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Heck on Sept. 16, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Sheaffer was a graduate of McPherson College, McPherson, and attended Chicago University for one year of graduate studies.
He worked for the Social Security Administration office in Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Sheaffer was a member of the United Methodist Church, Tonganoxie.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; two sons, Martin Sheaffer, Fort Worth, Texas, and Vernon Sheaffer, Tonganoxie; one brother, Jim Sheaffer, Chadron, Neb.; and one granddaughter.
