Robert Hardwick

Visitation for Robert Dean Hardwick, 73, of Kansas City, Kan., was Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Mr. Hardwick died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1935 in Carrollton, Mo.
Mr. Hardwick was a pressman/supervisor in the printing trade for more than 45 years and was a member of the Pressman’s Union. He also was employed part-time through Leavenworth County Extension as a cattle A/I breeder and was a volunteer firefighter with Bethel Fire Department.
Survivors include three daughters Tammy Hampton, Cheryl Matzeder and Karen Breuer; two sons, Kevin and Kenny; a brother, Elme; a sister, Beverly Perry; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Odyssey Health Care or American Heart Association, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
