Tonganoxie — Services for Gene E. Lewandowski, 64, Tonganoxie, were Wednesday, June 3, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Lewandowski died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his home.
He was born June 9, 1944, in Leavenworth, the son of Theodore and Thelma (Trowbridge) Lewandowski. He was an Eagle Scout and worked as a hospital maintenance worker for 40 years.
Mr. Lewandowski married Sandy Johnson on July 3, 1970. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Anthony, Bonner Springs; a daughter, Nicole Mills, Tonganoxie; two brothers, Roy, Bonner Springs, and Don, Kansas City, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
