Myrtle Landon

Graveside services for Myrtle Winifred Landon, 92, Lawrence, were Monday at the Eudora City Cemetery.
Mrs. Landon died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.
She was born April 23, 1917, in Lawrence, the daughter of Charles and Josephine Nichols Dunser. She moved between Kansas and Missouri, finally settling in Eudora in 1937.
She married Herbert John Landon in Oskaloosa in 1937. He died in 1979.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, John A. “Jack” Landon in 1986 and Wendell O. Landon in 1966.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Barnes, Redding, Calif., six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor Employee Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
