John Orrick Jr.

Graveside memorial services for John A. Orrick Jr., 74, Basehor, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at National Cemetery, Leavenworth.
Mr. Orrick died Monday, June 8, 2009.
He was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John and Elizabeth Stubbs Orrick. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and worked as manager of the poultry division of Farmland Industries, Kansas City, Kan.
On Feb. 14, 1975, he married Sandra Meyers in Olathe; she survives.
Other survivors include a son, John III, Basehor; two stepsons, Curtis Jardon, Piper, and David Jardon, Lansing; four brothers; six sisters; and two grandsons.
