Nancy Chappell

Memorial services for Nancy Lee Chappell, 69, Shawnee, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 19, at Heritage United Methodist Church, 12850 Quivira Rd., Overland Park.
Mrs. Chappell died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1939, in Santa Ana, Calif., the daughter of Willard and Beulah (Creed) Brown. Mrs. Chappell was a 1962 graduate of Wichita University.
She married Van Chappell on Sept. 2, 1960. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Amy Cissell and husband, John, Lenexa, and Heather Jones, Maplewood, Minn.; a son, Todd Chappell and wife, Krista, Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Charlotte Barnhart and husband, Cal, Knoxville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, sent in care of Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
