Agnes Leader

Services for Agnes S. Leader, 92, Prairie Village, were Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Trinity Anglican Church, Prairie Village. Graveside service will be Saturday, Nov. 14, at Green Hill Cemetery, Laramie, Wyo.
Mrs. Leader died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Brighton Gardens, Prairie Village.
She was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Hanna, Wyo., the daughter of Frank and Jeane (Raite) Amoss. She attended both the Universities of Wyoming and Minnesota and received her bachelor’s degree. She was a member of Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters, the auxiliary at Ivanson Memorial Hospital, Laramie, Wyo., and was an active volunteer in the community.
On Sept. 18, 1937, she married Daniel Leader in Hanna, Wyo. He died July 15, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeane Leader Petersen and her husband, Don, Lenexa; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
