Helen Murphy

Tonganoxie –Services for Helen J. Murphy, 103, formerly of Basehor, were Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Lansing.
Ms. Murphy died Saturday Sept. 5, 2009, in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Sep. 3, 1906, the daughter of John and Katherine (Eibes) Murphy. She retired in 1971 from Sears, Kansas City, Mo., as an office worker. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and its Altar Society.
Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews and 18 grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family suggests memorials to the church building fund or to youth programs of the parish, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
