Kaye Long

Private burial for Kaye Long, 62, Tonganoxie, will be in the National Cemetery in Leavenworth.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Long died Friday, April 2, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence.
She was born March 5, 1948, in Webb City, Mo., the daughter of Leonard and Alta Bogart Hopkins. She was a 1966 graduate of Ruskin High School, Hickman Mills, Mo.
She married John R. Long on Sept. 22, 1973, in Kansas City, Mo. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Robert Long, Tonganoxie; a daughter, Kim Walston, Olathe; a sister, Joan Morris, Kansas City, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Spina Bifida Association of America, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
