Funeral Mass for Bill LeCluyse, 83,Lenexa, was Saturday, Aug. 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Shawnee.
Mr. LeCluyse died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.
He was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Shawnee, the son of William and Julia (DeJaegher) LeCluyse. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. LeCluyse was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Shawnee American Legion. He worked for Proctor & Gamble for many years before starting his own construction business.
His wife, Millie, died in January 2010.
Survivors include his children; John (Kaye), Geri (Randy), Patty (Bill), Mary Beth (Hank), and Bill Jr. (Kendra); 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Catholic Charities or St. Joseph Catholic Church, sent in care of Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
