Mass of Christian Burial for Kevin W. Horst, 29, Nevada, Mo., and formerly of Shawnee, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa.
Mr. Horst died, Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in Nevada.
He was born in Overland Park, the son of Gary and Susan Horst.
Mr. Horst was an engineer for the Missouri-Northern Arkansas Railroad for the past five years.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Bryan Horst; and a sister, Stacey King, all of Shawnee.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where the rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to Johnson County Mental Health, 15118 S. Glenwood Ave., Overland Park, KS 66223.
