James Fare

Mass of Christian Burial for James R. Fare, 54, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Fare died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Rufus and Dixie (Miller) Fare. He was married to Mary C. Gerber. He worked as a nurse tech.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fare, of the home; three sons, James Fare Jr., Little Rock, Ark., Martin and Michael Fare, of the home; one brother, Lester Fare, West Plains, Mo.; one sister, Paula Holmes, Holden, Mo.; and one grandson.
Memorials are suggested to Cross-Roads Hospice or to the Knights of Columbus.
