David Routh

Graveside services at Leavenworth National Cemetery for David Orson Routh, 60, Wellsville, will be at a later date. He died Jan. 30, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was cremated.
He was born April 4, 1949, in Fort Scott, the son of Isaac N. and Edith M. (Richards) Routh. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1967 and attended Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Routh served in the United States Army from December of 1967 to September of 1970 during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Mr. Routh was a lifelong chef in Lawrence, working in the Paradise Café in the 1990s.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Routh, LeLoup, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Judith Wilson, and a brother, James Routh, Wegner.
