Venita Davis

Kansas City, Kan. — Memorial services for Venita J. Davis, 80, Kansas City, Kan., were Tuesday, July 13, at Edwardsville Christian Church. Burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Davis died Friday, July 9, 2010, in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Jan. 23, 1930, in Stewartsville, Mo., the daughter of Fred and Maude Burchett Kearney.
Mrs. Davis attended Humansville High School, where she was a cheerleader. She was in customer sales with Sears for 22 years.
She married Donald R. Davis on July 24, 1948, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Donna Wyrick, Donita DeCarlo and Dana McGinnis; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Kearney; and a sister, Ada O’Rear.
