Marsha Cronin Stillions
Shawnee — Services for Marsha Nadine Cronin Stillions, 66, Shawnee, were Tuesday, June 8. Burial was at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee.
Ms. Stillions died Saturday, June 5, 2010, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born Oct. 26, 1943, in Garden City, the daughter of Floyd William Cronin Sr. and Thelma May Rundell Cronin. She was raised in the Pierceville community and graduated in 1961 from Pierceville High School. She attended Fort Hays College and chose to participate in a work study with the FBI in Washington, D.C., where she met her future husband Edward Stillions. They raised four children together.
Ed and Marsha lived in Oberlin, Kan., for 16 years before moving to Shawnee in 1984. She finished her degree at Webster College and was an office administrator for several doctor offices before her retirement.
Survivors include her husband; their children, Deb (Doug) Geist, Lawrence, Bill (Christa), Shawnee, Carri (Ben) Basinski, Avon Lake, Ohio, and Ray (Inge), Bonner Springs; nine grandchildren; a sister and four brothers.
