Nickola Jo Sullivan
Mass of Christian Burial for Nickola Jo Sullivan, 64, Shawnee, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mrs. Sullivan died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born July 6, 1945, in Leroy.
She was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women’s Auxiliary and was a past president of the Women’s Auxiliary for the state of Kansas in 2007.
Survivors include her father, Bob Jewett, Casa Grande, Ariz.; mother, Bea (Williams) Hatfield, Shawnee; two sons, Patrick Ryan Sullivan, Shawnee, and Sean (Angela) Sullivan, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Larry Jewett, Leroy; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where a rosary recitation will be at 6 p.m. Following the rosary, there will be a VFW Women’s Auxiliary service.
The family suggests memorials to a fund for Jody’s grandchildren, sent in care of the funeral home 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203.
