Iva Jordan

Linwood — Services for Iva Nell Jordan, 78, of Linwood, were Wednesday, March 10, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
She died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Edwardsville.
She was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Ames, Okla., the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Frye) Sparks. She moved to Kansas City in 1942 and married Cleo Jordan on Sept. 17, 1946. Following Cleo’s retirement from General Motors, they moved in 1988 to Enid, Okla.
Her husband died in 1996. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Beverly Berquest, and a stepson, Jerry Jordan.
Survivors include a son, Danny Jordan and wife, Linda, Linwood; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Aseracare Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
