Javier Reyes

Services for Javier Antonio Reyes, 58, Shawnee, will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 21, at First Baptist Church of Shawnee. Burial will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Mr. Reyes died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park.
He was born March 11, 1952, in Chicago, the son of Tony and Mary (Zuniga) Reyes.
Mr. Reyes was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Compton) Reyes; four sons, Marty, Tony (Faith), Joey and Richie (Kelly) Reyes; his parents, Tony and Mary Reyes; a brother, Mark (Tammy); sisters, Matilda (Don), Christine (Mike) and Sylvia (Douglas); two grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
The family suggests memorials to Casas Por Cristo, sent in care of Clear Creek Baptist Church, 6424 Vista Drive, Shawnee, KS 66218.
