Bertie Hague

Services for Bertie Allen Hague, 88, Shawnee, were Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial with military honors was at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hague died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010.
He was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Half Rock, Mo., the son of Levi and Eva Hague. He was one of 15 children. Mr. Hague was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from the city of Merriam in 1992. He was a lifetime member of Shawnee American Legion Post 327. 
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Hague, of the home; five children, Gary Hague, Warsaw, Mo., Rayma Hatt, Basehor, Larry and Debbie Hague and Joyce and Dennis Dickerson, all of Shawnee, and Ronnie and Judy Hague, Lawson, Mo.; nine surviving brothers and sisters; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Kathy Marie Bender, died earlier.
