Services for Ida May Brunson, 92, Shawnee, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial will be at Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brunson died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010.
She was born Aug. 14, 1918.
She met the love of her life, Maurice Brunson, and they married on Jan. 1, 1936. In 1958 the family moved to Shawnee.
Her husband of 50 years, Maurice Brunson, and a son, Irvin Brunson, died earlier.
Survivors include a son, Donald Brunson; daughters Phyllis Brunson and Anita Cannon, and Sharon Kenton; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Josephine Tabbert. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at the funeral chapel.
