V. Green

Graveside services for V. Louise Green, 93, Bonner Springs, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Green died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1917, and raised in Washington, Ind. She also lived in Crane, Ind., until her retirement in 1989 from the U.S. Naval Weapons Support Center. In 2005, she moved with her family to the Bonner Springs area.
Mrs. Green was a member of Free Methodist Church in Washington, Ind.
Survivors include two children, Marlyn (Richard) Clements, Bonner Springs, and Charles (Linda) Green, Beech Grove, Ind.; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
