Johnny Myers

Services for Johnny Allen Myers, 65, Shawnee, will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
Mr. Myers died Friday, July 29, 2011, at Prairie Star Emergency Department, Lenexa.
He was born in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John E. and Waneta Myers.
Mr. Myers was graduate of Park University. He was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve and a retired lieutenant with the Overland Park Fire Department.
A grandson died earlier.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Brenda Myers; a daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Hager, Shawnee; two sons, John (Kim) Myers and Jerry (Tanya) Myers, both of Lenexa; two sisters, Berniece Wells and Faye Ann Laird, both of Shawnee; a brother, David Myers, Fort Scott; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
