Virginia Glenn

A gathering of family and friends of Virginia L. Glenn, 81, Shawnee, will be at noon, Saturday, March 26, at Shawnee Park Christian Church, 16500 Midland Drive. Private family services and cremation also are scheduled.
Mrs. Glenn died Friday, March 18, 2011.
She was born in Herington, the daughter of Tyler and Emma (Hession) Snodgrass, and has lived in Shawnee for 60 years.
Mrs. Glenn was a member of United Methodist Women.
She married James Glenn on Sept. 4, 1951, in Sedalia, Mo.
A granddaughter died earlier.
Survivors include her husband, James; four children: Bonnie (Sonny) Ellis, Jane Goad, Janice (Dave) Doan, and James T. Glenn; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Odyssey Hospice, 8735 Rosehill Rd., Suite, 200, Lenexa, KS 66215.
