Goldie Bronson

Services for Goldie Irene Bronson, 88, Glendale, Ariz., were Friday, Oct. 7, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial was in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Bronson died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, in Peoria, Ariz.
She was born Feb. 21, 1923, on the family farm in rural Smith County, Kan., the daughter of Ernest and Bertha Minkler.
She married Ervin Bronson in 1941 at Fort Riley. Mr. Bronson died in 1996.
Survivors include three children, Michael Bronson, El Dorado, Brenda Bronson, Glendale, Ariz., and Bruce Bronson, Olathe; two stepsons, Richard Bronson, Sun City, Ariz., and Alton Bronson, Coon Rapids, Minn.; two grandsons; and many other family and friends.
