Services for Betty Joyce Lightwine, 85, Shawnee, will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
Mrs. Lightwine died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011
She was born June 23, 1926, in Butler, Mo.
Mrs. Lighwine was a cashier at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School for many years. Her husband of 60 years, Charlie Lightwine, died May 28, 2009.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Ed) Flynn, Lenexa; two sons, Albert (Joyce) Lightwine, De Soto, and Alan (Sherry) Lightwine, Olathe; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 Thursday, Oct. 27, at the chapel.
