Quinton McDonnell

Quinton Michael McDonnell, 45, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be at 5 pm, Sat., Aug. 11, at the Village West Family Church, 2205 N. 102nd St., Kansas City, KS. Private family burial to follow at a later date. Friends may call at the visitation from 3 to 5 pm, prior to the service, Sat., Aug. 11, at the church.
Quinton was born Nov. 18, 1966 in Kansas City, KS and was a life time area resident. He was a 1985 graduate of F.L. Schlagle High School in KC, KS. And had worked as a Machinist for many years. He was dedicated to playing the drums in the Praise Band at his church the Village West Family Church. He had also been a professional musician preforming in Aftergrove, a popular local jazz band.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Deborah McDonnell of the home. 2 daughters KaLeigh Jock of Bonner Springs, KS and Ciara Cohorst of Wamego, KS. His parents Michael and Judy McDonnell and one sister Melissa Shoptese all of Bonner Springs, KS. 3 grandsons Jayden, Deryk and Eurija. Paternal grandmother Thelma McDonnell and Maternal grandmother Beulah Ahart both of Kansas City, KS.
