Mary Payne

Mary M. Payne, 95, Shawnee, KS died June 2, 2012 at Shawnee Gardens withherfamilyatherside. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rosary will be recited at 6pm. Mass will be held at 10am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Mary was born to Joseph H. & Mary Ann Zahner on March 6, 1917 in Shawnee and was a lifelong resident. Mary was also a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lloyd J. Payne, by her parents, and 12 brothers and sisters. Mary is survived by her daughter Lorraine Hoefler and husband Charles, by her son David Payne and wife Nancy, her grandsons Chuck & Wendy Hoefler, Bill & Sheryl
