Troy Armstong
Troy E Armstrong, age 44, passed away at the home surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, June 13, 2015 after battling pancreatic cancer for only 4 short months.
Troy was an extremely devoted family man who was loved deeply and admired by family and co-workers. He recognized the importance of education while working full time and maintaining his family obligations. He attended Baker University and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Management degree in May 2012.
He enjoyed the outdoors, building projects in the garage, grilling, hanging out with friends and celebrating the 4th of July.
Troy is survived by; his wife of 21 years, Mary (NovoGradac), children Lukas age 19 and Michaela age 16, mother Evelyn Armstrong and brother Charles W Armstrong Jr., as well as multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles W Armstrong Sr.
There will be a memorial mass, 10:00am Saturday June 20th at Annunciation Catholic Church located at 740 N 6th St, Baldwin City, KS with a luncheon immediately following. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
