Gary Story

Gary Wayne Story, 83, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Friday September 25, 2020.
A celebration of life will be 10 am Monday October 5, 2020 at the Quisenberry Funeral Home and will be private for family members. Everyone attending the service is asked to wear a face covering.
Gary was born November 21, 1936 in Needles, CA, the son of Wayne E. and Jean A. (Detra) Story. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in the Mechanical Department and as a Roundhouse Foreman. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. Gary loved the Santa Fe Railroad where he worked all his life and then retired. His recent passion was quilting and he gifted so many family and friends with his work.
He is survived by his sister, Edris Welsh, Tonganoxie, whom he lived with; brother, Neal Story, Blue Springs, MO; sister, Judy Rynearson, Liberty, MO; He had nine nieces and nephews who along with their children and grandchildren will miss him greatly.
The family suggests donations in Gary’s name to the Grace Baptist Church, Tonganoxie
