Richard Bronaugh

Richard Rex Bronaugh, 78, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away June 4, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be 2 pm Monday June 14, 2021 at the Tonganoxie VFW Post 910 E 1st street Tonganoxie, KS. Burial will be announced at a later date.
Richard was born March 25, 1943 in Frankfort, KS, the son of Robert and Jennie (Forgy) Bronaugh. He worked for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as an Environmental Scientist. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the Tonganoxie Veterans of Foreign War Post #9271 serving as quartermaster for many years. He was also a member of the Tonganoxie American Legion.
Survivors include; his wife, Helen, of the home, and her 2 daughters, Robin Gambrill and Staci (Chris) Gratton; one son, Thomas (Jill) Bronaugh, Topeka, KS; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
